Pocket Polaroid (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a small, slow photo journal. One picture, when you mean it. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We try to collect only what is necessary to make the app work.

1.1 Account information

When you sign in, we receive a limited set of information from your identity provider:

• Sign in with Apple: an Apple-issued user identifier, your email address (which may be a private relay address you control), and — only on first sign-in — your name, if you choose to share it.
• Sign in with Google: your Google account email address, your Google user ID, and your profile name.
• Email sign-in: the email address you provide.

We store this information in our authentication backend (Supabase) so we can recognize you on future sign-ins and associate your photos with your account.

1.2 Content you create

When you save a moment, we collect and store:

• The photo you capture or pick from your library.
• Any caption and location label (free text you type) you attach to it.
• The date of the moment and small visual metadata such as tilt.

The photo file itself is stored in our private cloud storage (Supabase Storage). The caption, location label, date, and tilt are stored in our database alongside your account ID.

We do not read, scan, or analyze the contents of your photos beyond storing and displaying them back to you.
